19.11.2020: 1st Online Meeting / "Kick-Off Meeting"

On Thursday, 19.11. the kick-off meeting for the "App-solute news" project took place from 12:30 to 15:00.

During the kick-off meeting the participants were introduced to the project, the contents, the process and the team. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to take part in a virtual newsroom tour and to get to know the app of the Kleine Zeitung better.

26.11.2020: 2nd online meeting / "Newspaper reading and Images of Old Age"

On Thursday, 26.11. from 14:00 to 16:30 the 2nd online meeting of the "App-solute News" project took place, in which analogue and digital newspaper reading was discussed and tested. Furthermore, there was an impulse lecture with a guided discussion round on age stereotypes and images of old age with Assoz. Prof. Dr. Ulla Kriebernegg.

03.12.2020: 3rd Online Meeting / "Digital Storytelling"

The 3rd online meeting of the intergenerational teams took place on Thursday, 03.12. from 14:00 to 16:30 and was dedicated to the method of Digital Storytelling. In the course of this unit, the participants learned what a "Digital Story" is, what it can be used for and how it works. Furthermore, the participants gained insights into how a digital story is created on Adobe Spark and what content they can address in it.

08.04.2021: Final meeting

On 08.04. from 15:00 to 16:30 the final meeting for the participants of the "App-solute news" project took place. During this meeting, the project was rounded off and an exchange of individual experiences was made possible, which the participants were able to gather during the course of the project and especially during the development of their Digital Story. Last but not least, we took a look at the wonderful Digital Stories that can now be found on our website!
